The U.S.S. Nevada, the only capital ship to
get underway during the December 7th. attack on Pearl Harbor,
passes the burning hulk of the Arizona. Fearing that the ship
might be sunk in the channel, Nevada was run aground near Hospital
Point. Signed by Admiral Francis Thomas - the Nevada's commander,
plus seven survivors of the attack. |
