to the islands of the Great South Sea in Alexander Kent's novel,
Passage to Mutiny. Geoffrey Huband captured a tranquil
moment for Bolitho's thirty-six-gun frigate, HMS Tempest, at
anchor in the bay of a tropical island, sails drying, whilst
